Volunteers Shop Early...before we open to the public!
One of the reasons our sale is such a success is YOU, our dedicated volunteers!
Work at least one 4-hour shift (or completing a barter shift) during the sale and you'll get to shop our Volunteer PreSale. If you volunteer for 2 (or more) shifts & consign at the sale, you'll get to shop the Volunteer PreSale AND receive 70% of what you sell; an extra 5%!
NEW THIS SALE: 4 volunteer options (see chart below), including a new barter shift. We'll hand out wristbands to volunteers in line at the door for the Volunteer PreSale. Each work shift will earn one wristband.

Barter Shifts:Earn one wristband by donating sale supplies & food for workers. Volunteers are limited to one barter shift. A barter shift counts as one shift. View & sign up for barter shifts using the same Volunteer Work shift system.
Volunteers who work during the Volunteer PreSale (Wed 4:30-8:30pm shift) must work at least 2 shifts. Volunteers working the 4:30-8:30pm shift during the Volunteer PreSale shop at 3pm and will need to be at checkout by 4pm. Those volunteers will receive a colored armband at the door (or at "Information") allowing them to bypass the checkout line so they may begin their work shift promptly at 4:30.
Sharing Wristbands: Volunteers
receive one Volunteer PreSale wristband for every 4-hour shift worked. You may give your wristbands to a shopping buddy, but that may mean you'll get in at a later PreSale. For example, if you work 4 shifts you'll earn 4 wristbands. If you give 2 to your sister, you'll both get into the PreSale at 3pm, because you need 2 wristbands to shop at 3pm.
Important details for Volunteers:
please arrive 10 minutes before your first work shift to sign our Volunteer Contract. Due to safety reasons, children are not allowed. Please leave valuables at home or in your car.
No time to volunteer? Earn one Volunteer PreSale Pass by handing out 500 flyers in multiple local business locations, connect us with the media or complete one barter shift.

Volunteer Duties:
Marketingfor the Event...Help us spread the word about the sale! If you have contacts at schools, daycares, church groups, etc. and you can get 500 flyers into the community - that will earn you one wristband to our Volunteer PreSale!
Before the Event...There is a ton of work that goes on behind the scenes to prepare for the As They Grow Sales Event.Areas where you could be asked to help include: receiving, inspecting & sorting items as they arrive and setting up & organizing the retail floor.
During the Event...Our amazing team of volunteers make our events possible!You could help out by manning a cash register, restocking & organizing sale items, directing traffic or “securing” the sale.
After the Event...“Parting is such sweet sorrow” and that is true for our event as well.Before we close up shop for the season, unsold items need to be sorted and prepared for pickup or donation.The floor needs to be “torn down”, trucks need to be loaded and the facility needs to be left in the same condition in which we found it.
Advertising/Media...If you know anyone in print, TV or radio media who can “cover” the sale, let us know...it just may earn you a PreSale wristband.
