Click the "Item Entry & Tag Printing Link" button below after reading this page if you are ready to enter your items and print your tags. Consignors, please take the time to read through our Item Prep, Tagging Instructions & Acceptable/Unacceptable Items pages as each sale may have new requirements . Any items that don't meet our guidelines will not be accepted at Drop Off.

Hot Consignment Tip from one of our "sale savvy" moms: keep the zippered bags that bedding & other household items come in - they work great for packaging items for sale & don't cost a thing!
Enter your consignor number and password that you received when you registered. Begin entering the items into the As They Grow online inventory & tagging system. The program is very user-friendly. Simply fill in the blank fields for each sale item.
When you’ve entered all of the items, print your tags on 60 lb. white cardstock. Thicker paper helps keep your tags from tearing off during the sale. Replace your ink cartridge if you printer is low on ink so that all of your tags will scan correctly at the sale. Thicker paper & scannable barcodes help your sales.
Price clothing at 25-30% of the retail price. If you paid $12 for a shirt, 25% of retail would be $4. Consider the quality (new w/ tags vs. slightly worn) and the brand of your items when pricing. Pricing Tip from a consigning mom: Price your items at a price you would be willing to pay for the item & keep in mind that shoppers are looking for a bargain!
Minimum price per item is $2. Full dollar increments—no $.50. If the value of a single item is less than $2, group similar items together - i.e. DVDs, coordinating tops & bottoms, smaller toys & action figures. This maximizes your sales!
We strongly recommend discounting your items for the last day of the sale (50% OFF day), just check the appropriate box when creating your tags. If you plan on donating any unsold items, wouldn't you rather at least get 50%?
♦Keep in mind: The #1 reason for things not selling is the price is too high. Price them to sell. ♦If you plan to donate any unsold items, mark them for discount.
Here is a suggested pricing guideline for some of your items:
Hot items can sell for up to 50% of the original price if they're in great condition. These include Step 2, Little Tikes, VTech, Fisher Price & Leap Frog brand products such as play kitchens, slides, ride-on toys, tool benches, learning toys, etc.
Discount store brands like Circo, Jumping Beans, Koala Kids, etc. are best sold as outfits & at bargain prices. Shorts & shirt sets $2-$3. Pants & shirt sets $2-$4.
Onesies are best sold hanging in sets of 4 or more for $2-5.
Follow these Prep Guidelines to increase your sales!
Clothing
Wash all clothing and make sure they are free from stains.
Iron, button & zip for better appearance. Pressed clothing looks newer & sells faster.
Hang all clothing on child-size plastic hangers (10 for a $1 at most discount stores).
Hanging Pants: Pants sell much better
when hung on pant hangers. If you must pin your pants to the hangers, make sure to pin them to the top part
of the hanger - see picture below.
As They Grow will not accept any clothing that's wrinkled, stained, or not on hangers.
Shoes
Most shoes, unless they're suede or beaded, are machine washable. Just let them air-dry and they'll come out looking like new.
Toys and Equipment
All toys must be clean and in working condition.
Magic erasers work well on plastic surfaces, toothbrushes for small, hard-to-reach areas & disinfectant wipes for the rest!
Toys must have working batteries.
Place small parts in clear plastic bags and securely attach them to the item with a zip tie or packing tape, so that they don’t get separated during the sale.

Packaging Your Items:
Toys, baby gear, etc.
Attach the tag with clear packing tape to a flat surface. If tape will damage the item or packaging, use a zip tie to attach the tag. Be sure to reinforce the tag with a small piece of clear packing tape on the corner before punching a hole for the zip tie. Tags that aren't reinforced with tape easily tear off.
Owners manuals, removable parts, extra cords, etc. can be placed in ziplock bags & attached to the item with zip ties. Reinforce the bag with packing tape before you hole punch the bag.
When grouping items together such as sports gear, toys with multiple pieces, etc. securely attach all parts together with zip ties or packaging tape and use only one tag. Make sure the tag includes a description of all parts in case they get separated, i.e. "Fisher Price Tree House with 2 fences. 3 pieces."
Puzzles, Small Toys, and Games
It is really important to tape boxes closed so the pieces do not get separated at the sale. If you do not have the original box, put pieces and any directions in a large zipper bag and seal with packing tape.
Books, DVDs, and CDs
When grouping multiple items together, please put them in clear plastic bags. Use only ONE tag per grouping. Please list all the titles on one tag. Do not tape the bag as we will check all cases to ensure enclosed DVD or CD matches the case & all items are present. We will then seal the bags with tape before sale to ensure items don't get separated.
Furniture
All furniture must be fully assembled at Drop Off, prior to the sale. Furniture such as Pack-n-Plays, etc. sell much better when shoppers can see that it is complete and in good, clean shape. Please make sure you bring all of the necessary parts and any tools needed to fully assemble these items at Drop Off. If you have a question about furniture or any other large items that you wish to consign please contact us at merchandise@astheygrowlv.com.
You must print a bar coded tag for all of your items using our software. Once your items are entered, you can print all of your tags at once.
Tagging Your Items
Any unsold items you want back after the sale must have a pink highlighter/marker line along the right side of the tag as shown in the photos below. Any unsold items without this line on the tag will be donated to charity.
You may attach tags to items using safety pins, packing tape or zip ties. Attach tags to items as directed below:
Clothing Position the (plastic, child size) hanger like a question mark with the hook opening to the left if you’re looking straight at the garment. If an item isn’t secure on the hanger, you can use safety pins to attach it to the hanger. Attach the tag to the right side of the garment at the top using a safety pin.
Hot Tip from a Top Consignor: To better secure your tags to clothing items, put a small piece of packing tape over the pin. Packing tape prevents zip-tied tags from falling off of larger items too.
Unsold items, not marked for donation need a pink highlighted line
Unsold items being picked up after the sale need a pink highlighted line
If you are grouping items together, securely attach both parts together so they will not be separated, and use only one tag. Make sure the tag includes a description of all parts in case they're separated.
Attach any accessories, socks, headbands, etc that are included in the outfit by putting them in a clear zip lock bag, attaching the bag with a safety pin to the left side of the garment opposite the tag.
Sizing
It is important to use the most descriptive size you can on your tags. When possible, use 3-6 mos., 4T, etc. rather than small, medium, large.
Shoes
Only select shoes that are like new, with little wear and tear. Tie together with a zip tie or string. Attach the tag by putting a piece of packing tape over the top left corner and punching a hole through it. This will allow you to slip it on to the zip tie when you are tying the shoes together.
Puzzles and Games
To prevent damage to original packaging, attach the tag with scotch tape to the underside of boxes that have a picture on the front, or choose another location on the box to ensure the least damage when the tag is removed. Use packing tape to attach tags to items in clear plastic bags. Large wooden puzzles too big for plastic bags can be held together with plastic wrap.
Large Baby Equipment, Large Toys & Furniture
NEW THIS SALE: Print two tags for all large items. Tape one tag to the item for easy viewing and removal. At drop-off, that tag will be removed from your item and attached to a Large Item Claim Ticket, which will then be zip-tied to your item. Tape the 2nd tag underneath your item for identification in case the first tag is removed during the sale. Place extra parts such as cords, manuals, etc. in a ziploc bag and zip tie it to your item. Using packing tape to reinforce the bag & then hole-punching a hole to put the zip tie through works best. Make note of the extra parts in your item's tag description.
Pack-n-Plays need to be set up and the carrying case/bag should be pinned or ziptied to it. Place a second, duplicate tag on the carrying case/bag. To print the extra tag for the bag - while in the inventory/tag printing system choose "print selected tags" & just check the box for your Pack-n-Play.
